Welcome to my personal website. I am an energy economist, working as Affiliate Fellow at the Brussels-based think tank Bruegel in Brussels. I am also a part-time Postdoctoral Research Associate at DIW Berlin. I hold a PhD in Economics from the Technical University of Berlin (TU Berlin).
At Bruegel, I work on European energy policy, the EU internal energy markets, and the transition to net zero. My academic research focuses on energy economics, climate policy, and the integration of renewable energy sources into power systems. I have been using energy system modelling, using linear numerical optimization, and econometric analysis.
